• Your email address. Used to sign you in — we email you a one-time code. If you joined the waitlist on this website, we stored that email too.
• Your username (optional). You start out as “anon” and can pick a username if you want one. You never have to.
• What you create. The situations you post, any photo you attach, the votes and written-in answers you submit, and the circle names and member display names you type in.
• Vote records. Which reaction was chosen, and a device fingerprint used to stop the same device voting twice on one situation.

That is the whole list. We do not collect your location, your contacts list, your browsing habits, or anything about you from third parties.

Phone numbers you add to circle members are stored only on your own device. They are never transmitted to our servers, never backed up by us, and never visible to anyone else. Only the member's display name is saved to our database. If you reinstall the app, the names come back and the numbers do not — that is deliberate.

If you use add from contacts, the app reads the one contact you pick, purely to fill in a name and number. We never upload your contacts list, and the number follows the same on-device-only rule.

When someone votes on your situation, the vote is recorded against a device fingerprint — a value derived from their browser, used only to prevent double voting. It is not linked to a name, an email, or an account. We cannot tell you who cast a particular vote, and neither can you.

The one exception is when the poster chooses “names required” mode. Then each voter types a name, that name is stored alongside their vote, and it is shown to the poster with the results. Voters are told this before they vote.

Every situation has a share link. Anyone holding that link can open it and vote, subject to the timer the poster set — no account needed. If you archive a situation it disappears from your feed, but the link keeps working.

Photos attached to a situation are stored in public file storage, which means anyone with the direct file URL can view the image. Please don't attach anything you would not want seen by someone you didn't send the link to.

Purchases are processed by Google Play. Subscription and purchase status is managed for us by RevenueCat (their privacy policy).

We never see or store your card details. What we receive is whether your subscription is active.

Our database and file storage are hosted on Supabase, in the EU region. Your data is kept until you ask us to delete it, or until you delete your account.

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, hand it over in a portable format, or stop a particular use of it. Email hello@revival.hr and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge.

To delete your account and everything in it, open the app and go to the you tab → delete my account. It happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have the app installed, or you only want some of your data removed, our account deletion page covers both by email.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Croatian data protection authority (AZOP, azop.hr).

No ads. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it to train anything. The only third parties who touch it are the ones named above — Supabase to store it, Google Play and RevenueCat to handle payments — and they act on our instructions.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change actually matters to you, we will tell you in the app rather than quietly editing this page.
